Thank you for your responses to my emails.

Please know that today I spent the entire day watching your videos.  I was glued to my computer screen.  I think you are the most georgeous female and beautiful creature I have ever seen.  And that says a lot.  You could very well be my dream come true.  I hope this is the start of a long term mutually rewarding adventure for both of us.

I like what you have in store for me, all those things and more depending on time!!! I will be your willing toy.  Maybe one day I will be at the level of what I see in your videos.  For now, I am getting goose bumps thinking about it and not sure if I’m ready for this.  I’m really quite excited.

An Evening with Vice Magazine

I recently got to spend an evening Dominating Kelly McClure from Vice Magazine .

I had a really great time, and so did Kelly!  Here’s a bit of what she had to say about it:

Last week was a week of firsts for me. I began it by going to a spa in Park Slope to get my very first massage, and I ended it by going to a hotel in Manhattan to have my first session with a dominatrix. The theme of last week, apparently, was “touching.”

From the time I received the press release informing that San Francisco’s hottest dominatrix, January Seraph, was booking exclusive private sessions in NYC, to the night of my own session with her, my nerves and excitement level went on a serotonin roller coaster that started with “so kooky, so wild, I’m really doing this,” to “I’m terrified. I feel like I’m going to a haunted house.”

The Best Possible Tribute

On December 6th, she was told the cancer has spread to her bone. Two weeks ago, another diagnosis - cancer has been found in her liver as well as several new tumors being discovered on and near her initial surgical site.

Hollie will be re-entering chemotherapy and radiation for 6 weeks beginning February 27th. Due to her new prognosis and pre-existing cancer, now, more than ever, we need your help.

LA Again (For a Bit)

I’m officially based in LA again, at least until May. I re-partnered in My luxe LA playspace downtown.

I’m taking a break from the building out of the new space in SF. I was a bit ambitious thinking it wouldn’t take as long as it has. Plus, if you know me, you know how much I HATE dirt, and there is so much dust every time I go to my office that I just need to step back from that.

So if you live in, are passing through, or coming to LA just to see Me, send in your session requests- Im in the mood for some serious debauchery :-)

Kinky Indian Summer Greetings!

Greetings Fellow Pervs!

As Indian Summer in San Francisco is in full swing, I find myself wondering where the time went!

Well, there was that concussion (which I’ve finally gotten over entirely), then there was some fundraising for my friend Hollie Stevens, who’s undergoing a brave battle with breast cancer, then a war against the people behind PornWikiLeaks.com, which later prompted me to cofound a non profit, http://AdultPerformers.org with fellow adult industry veteran Nica Noelle, as sexy shoot for Kink.com’s Divine Bitches and then I did the adult webmaster’s tour of Europe, stopping through Amsterdam, Prague, and London. Then NY, LA, Fort Lauderdale… and I’m finally home in SF :-) If you’re interested in any of those stories, they can be found on JanuarySeraph.com/blog or on the blog here, over the past six months.

I’ve added a new feature to MistressJanuary.com, which is a public calendar which specifies which cities I’m available in, and when.

For the moment I’m trying my hardest to stay in SF for a few weeks for two reasons: 1) Now that I’ve settled in, I’m looking forward to both solidifying some connections, and making some new connections with all of the wonderful kindred pervs that SF is home to! 2) so I can make better progress on building out my 3,000 sq ft playspace near Union Square, and so that I can focus on some upcoming sites I have in the works.. Specifically the FemDom and LezDom sites I’m hoping to be producing for by Thanksgiving, the New Year at the latest!

However, by the New Year, I have plans to tear through both New York and Los Angeles a few more times, so make sure to keep up with my travel dates!

As far as other things that may be of interest to you..

I’m aware that the world’s markets are crazy right now, as are our social and political climates. Rather than tell you that you can’t get your kink on, or lowering my rates, I’ve decided to find a solution that might benefit both of us.

There are, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis situations that I hire professionals from various trades and practices for. Everything from someone who’s a plumber or contractor to lawyers who specialise in IP and internet law. Then there’s the normal stuff that every woman considers just a part of life- girly maintenance, health care upkeep, accountants, etc.

If money is tight, or you’d just rather revert back to an era where the barter system seemed more palatable, think about what you’re skilled at and/or what you do as a profession, and see if it could somehow be something of use to me. (Please don’t bore me with sexual service offers.) Perhaps we can work out a way for you to have more fun, and me to get more done :-)

Traits I Find Sexy in A submissive

One of my vanilla friends recently was asking me what on earth I found sexy about submissive men. Clearly, she “doesn’t get it”.

I tried to describe the physical and mental rush I get when engaging with a truly wonderful and fun submissive male. While I don’t think she’s convinced (yet) I do think that she’s a bit more open to it after I described the two traits I value most in a sub that I play with.

1. Honesty.

Not honesty as in I need to know every last detail down to his social security number, but honesty as in sharing with me his most hidden self, that no one else gets to even know exists. I love keeping delicious secrets, and sharing a special bond with someone that few (if any) other people are able to share.

2. A Willingness to Please

Now don’t jump the gun and start telling me how good you are with your tongue! That’s actually an instant turn off for me. I mean to please me with good manners, thoughtfulness, and service- be that domestic service, offering your body as a canvas, or participating in either my chosen debauchery of the moment or in one of my various projects.
